Just straigh pipe or straight pipe wit x-pipe

I got to cats goin into one exhaust im planning on getting dual exhaust and i wanted to know if it would be better for hp/tq gains to go just all out straight pipe and remove my cats or get a x-pipe and remove my cats.

straight pipe or x or h pipe wont make any difference. the even fireing order of the 3.8 doesn't need an x or h pipe. straight 2.5 inch pipe is just as good.

replace the cats with high flow cats. don't run catless there is little advantage to running catless. on lightly modded 3.8's the removing the stock cars will not gain more than 1-2 hp anyways. it will make it much louder though
