How much better are K-Code heads over C-Code heads? And how much better are aluminum heads over K-Code heads? The blocks between the c and k code motors are the same right? Did K code motors come with a different cam?

K heads, all else equal, will not gain you anything over C-code heads. Other than the valve spring cups, screw-in studs, and architechture required for a solid cam, they are essentially the same head.

That should answer your question relative to aluminum heads

Only difference in the blocks is the HiPo had beefier main caps.

The cam was mechanical, not hydraulic. It was hotter than the stock 289, but not appreciably so compared to today's grinds. Nothing to get excited about today.
