K member mess

Can I use the k member out of my 79 to use in my 99 302 swap, if i drill new mounting locations? I know its probably a better idea to just buy a tubular for a 94 or 95gt but im broke.

the 79 I dont believe will be wide enough. I know they had a shorter track than the 87-93 which arent as wide as the 99 piece.

I would think it would work if you used the newer A arms on it.
I know it works in reverse where you could put the k member from a newer car in a fox and use the fox arms and be fine with a 4.6.

Well I think im gonna go ahead and get a tubular. Geuss il have to put off my alum heads for the 408.)-=
