I guess everyone likes to spend money to lose power.
And how is it unnecessary cost? I can buy 3 stockers 1 K&N. The 3 stockers will last me longer than I will have the car. But even if the stockers will cost more, who cares? If your that hard up for money then get another job.
Bottom line, stock is better than K&N.
Stop making excuses and admit your wrong.
To each his own. Until I see for myself that I am losing power, I don't plan to put the stock one back in. And frankly I don't see myself giving a crap enough to go get my car dyno'd, so I'll just wallow in my lost 3 HP while I spend 90% of my life going 30 MPH in Los Angeles rush hour traffic. Hopefully I can still still sleep at night.
Oh and the mileage I got in my '01 was absolutely better with the K & N in, so that's one fact that I myself know. Whether the K & N had anything to do with it or not, it was improved. So for me, that was a positive, and I'm not going to sit and argue what I should attribute it to.
Yes I need a new job, do you have suggestions? I'll send you my list of degrees and work experience, perhaps you can suggest a high-paying job. Thank you for your concern.
