K&N FIPK INDUCTION

Here is one I found up here on a Cobra:

If your getting it for looks...which it seems like you are...go for it. But if youre going for performance, dont bother. As posted in countless previous posts, Intakes dont do too much for mustangs because the stock intake isnt that restrictive to start with. If you have the stock filter you will notice a difference mostly because of the k&n filter, not realy the intake. When that thread about CAI intakes not working on mustangs came up, just for ****s and giggles i took off my FIPK and put a K&N filter on my stock intake and i dint notice any power loss. Im sure there was a 1 or 2hp loss, but you cant feel it. With that said...its a lot better than the chrome ones because those get really hot.and it looks great :nice:

what are those made out of alluminum? id stay away from anything metal....they heat up reeeely fast and basicaly destroy the point of COLD air intake

I dont know how true that theory is the air is only in that tube for a very short period of time.

Thats true...Personaly think air heating up from C&L tube is very very negregble... Its not like its going through heating coil or anything
