I have a 1998 GT, it pulles to the left pretty hard on the freeway while going 70 mph. I will be lowering the car in the next month or so and have heard that lowered mustangs pull pretty bad. What can I do to fix this. Allignment? Caster chamber plates? IDK anything would help

well if you lower it more than 1", you will most likely need caster camber plates and you would need an alignment after lowering it. if it still pulled after being properly aligned, then it would just be a tire pull.

Check the pressures in your tires first. When your pressures are set, go drive it (only if you had to change them), otherwise swap your tires from left to right. The pull should follow the tire if the tire is bad. If the pull is still to the left, then you have a brake or alignment issue. Make sure your brake caliper isn't sticking on the LF tire.

Does it do this even on perfectly smooth roads? Or is it tramlining/following ruts...

You probably need tires, shocks, and aligment.

Drive the car in your neighborhood and brake without your hands on the wheel- obviously you don't want to be going insanely fast. This test will let you know if there's a brake issue because if something's going on, the car will pull to that side. If the car brakes in a straight line, you can move on to either tires or suspension to look for the problem.

ok I did what yo said and it pulls when i let go of the wheel. It still pulls when I brake. Im gonna let my step dad drive it when I see him because hes a mechanic at Ford. thank you for your help. if you have any more ideas or anything don't hesitate

+1 for low tire pressure. Get the CC plates and an alignment when you lower the car. It will save your tires from premature wear.
