Kenne Bell guys- strut tower brace?

I am looking around for a strut tower brace that fits over the KB 1.7L on a 99 GT. Anyone with firsthand experience know which ones work? I know the steeda 2 pt. brace fits, but im kinda looking for a 3 pt. brace if i can find one.

Can I just order one made for the 03/04 cobra? and will it bolt on to my GT?

You don't need it.

Save the money and more importantly the weight.

If you are going to reply, please elaborate and tell me why you think i dont need it. I have read many reviews and every person reported noticeable improvements in handling. You may want to know my intentions and goals of the car before making that sort of statement.

Back to the question. does anyone know what strut tower braces clear the 1.7L KB on a GT?

I know there have been many debates about the value of a STB.

I recently removed mine and felt no difference on the track (road course). I am definitely of the opinion that it is just added weight to the front of a nose heavy car, especially on a street driven car.

The only time I have ever noticed a STB to be useful was on a friends convertible, it helped get rid of cowl shake. It made no difference to handling.

I have been wondering if the MM one for the 03/04's would fit but they won't send me a free one to try out after I had to remove the one I had when the KB went on.
