Not anymore. I have just this past week upgraded everything in the drivetrain. Nothing broke but I am tired of babying it at the track.

Juts came back from the track and noticed the hesitation you guys are talking about. It happened to me when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear at 5800 rpms. What's causing it? Has Kenne Bell given any kind of insight on this issue??

Weird, I'm not having this issue either although I have the 2.2 on my car.

As long as you give it a little gas inbetween ****s you are fine. The problem occurs when you completly let off the gas to shift. Mine only does it on the 2nd to 3rd also. Learn to drive around it i guess.

I found this thread on KB's tech forum regarding the hesitation when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear at high rpms. Do we have to learn to live with it?

I get this hesitation ( It feels more like a hiccup) when completely letting off the throttle. This has only happend to me about a half dozen times. I will have to pay more attention if someone has lost there rods.

i think the problem gotta do something with the tuning. anyway, not all of KB tune got problem. So we have to be on our own luck. Or just go have a dyno tune before u guys have a broken rod like me.

are you guys power shifting ? (keeping the gas pedal touching the floor during shifts) My 03 cobra did what you are referring to until I learnrd to power shift. It is a habit to release the gas a little during shifts and that causes the slight bog when shifting.

I also noticed the hesitation going from 2nd to 3rd gear. I have not tried to speed shift to see if it helps the issue. I did not notice this problem with a 9lb. pulley but I do with the 11lb. pulley. If you hear of anything that may correct this problem please let us know. I need to call KB and see what is up since alot of us are seeing this problem.

I've had this "hiccup" condition while shifting a few times...but I think it's "driver error".

Usually it happens to me when I've got "lazy feet"...I'm on the gas too soon before the clutch is totally engaged and it gives a slight hiccup. Doesn't really feel like a severe hesitation though. And it doesn't happen when I letting off the gas (shifting out of gear)...but when I'm getting back on the gas (shifting into gear).

Actually, a similar thing would happen when it was stock...which is why I think it's me...not the set up. It's those damn "lazy feet".

The throttle response with the KB versus stock has improved by at least 60% (SOTP meter here)...it's much more sensitive...so I would expect that I'll have to be more precise as a driver...and that the new set-up would magnify my mistakes.

Not sure if I'm having the same deal as those concerned...but based on Ken's comments on the linked post...I'm not concerned. The "lazy feet" had a similar result when stock...so I'm sure with the added HP and throttle response that it's just me more than the car.

I need to lear to power shift. I guess the stock clutch won't last long power shifting.

I've had this hesitation for a long time. No one has seemed to come up with a good answer of rectifying the problem.
