For $4,900.00, you get the 1.7L, 9psi (intercooled) kit, with boost-a-pump. If you want the “Big Tube” induction kit, with 90mm MAF, inlet tube, Switch Chip upgrade, Cold Air kit and 75mm T/B, expect to tack on another $800.00-1,000.00 to the price tag.

The intercooler set up consists mainly of a intercooler "brick", heat exchanger and electric water pump. Along with the accompanying pulley and tune needed to go with it.

The Boost-a-pump is basically an upgrade to the stock fuel system, which is a must when that kind of additional airflow is introduced. It comes standard with either the intercooled or non-intercooled version.

Yep, the full blown KB set up makes great power.....but it's gonna cost you.

So with that in mind, it doesn't hurt for you to keep your options open when making a decision as to what kind of blower you want to buy.

Best bet when money is a option buy the KB1.7 6psi kits for $3799

Pick up the intercooler and the rest later when you have the funds as they sell a upgrade kit for the 6psi kit. at least thats what i plan to do as i have $3100 saved right now

Yep, that's one way you could do it.

Keep in mind though, that if you're not doing it yourself, it's going to set you back a few bucks more for labor to add the rest of the kit afterwards, than if you were installing it all at once. Not to mention the need to have it retuned for the added boost and cooling. I don't care much for the 6psi kit on it's own (for reasons I've mentioned in the past), but if I planned on going with the intercooled kit and didn't have the money to spend on the whole shebang right off the bat, I'd probably just wait until I saved up enough money for the whole thing and get it all over with at once.

But that's just me.
