so yesterday, i unlocked my car to get something, and when i went to lock it, it didnt work.. and now the fob doesn't work at all? i replaced the battery with no luck. is there a fuse or something?! thanks :)

There is a trick to doing it, Its in the manual. I had to do it once.
Im going from memory here but I think you get in car, close the doors,
cycle the ignition key from off to on 8 times until the car locks itself
and unlocks (click click ) then hit the lock button on the FOB right away.
Then it should work.

Reading the owners manual works wonders doesn't it. They are available online too.

I think you can teach the car up to 8 fobs. And like 6 RFID keys as well.

I already made copies of my keys and taught the car to use them.
(you need two working RFID keys to get the car into key learn mode)
If you have less than two working keys, you have to visit the dealer or maybe a lock smith.

So far so good. Haven't driven it much because we haven't sold my old car yet, so we haven't registered it.

Anyway, had the windshield replaced, and will be working on the A/C this week before getting it in for inspection, emissions, oil change, and A/C recharge.

I took some rubbing compound/wax stuff to the scratches on the driver's side quarter and made a lot of the scratches/marks go away. There are some pretty nasty scratches still, but it looks a lot better.

I need to decide if I want to try and repaint the scratched areas with some aerosol touch up (doing it right) but I don't want it not match the rest of the car..but having it protected and mismatched is better than the bare scratches.

My wife wants to take it down to her cousin's wedding reception next Saturday, so I am trying to get it decent by then.

Thanks for asking!

Well, technically it wasn't "my" stang :)

I hope the scratches that are still there will help me not be so obsessive about the car this time around.

I realigned the door so it stopped catching the front fender. It was driving me nuts. Aligning that door was a pain in the butt! I was all alone too! It doesn't catch anymore, but I need to get some anti-rust and touch-up paint where it was rubbing or I will have some serious issues!

Next up is getting the condensation out of one of the headlights, swapping out an A/C line, and figuring out why the driver's seat is not level.
