Key wont turn a bit....

Without warning, my key will not turn a bit when I put it in the ignition. Every now and then it would get stuck, but jiggling the steering wheel would make it turn (this is the wheel lock I think?). Now its just stuck, I have jiggled until my arms are tired. Is there another solution to this? Or is this a bigger problem? Thanks ya'll.

If you have an automatic make sure your car is fully in park. This happened to me once and no matter what I did the key would not turn or come out of the ignition.

you could need a new lock cylinder. That happened on my sisters focus, out of nowhere the key wouldn't turn. Then a month later it happened on my dads ranger....

LOL, make sure you push the little unlock button behind the ignition if you haven't already.
