Hey guys, on my 96 gt the battery keeps draining. I tested for draw and it was pulling .08 amps, pulled the keyless fuse and it went down to .01. I havent had the time to wait and see if the gem module shuts off after 40 mins like its supposed to but that is the only drain i could find. I have an aftermarket alarm installed and this problem only started happening when I had that put in. For now I have the keyless module disconnected and the battery is holding its charge, but Im looking for a better solution as this obviously makes my courtesy lights not work and all. I'm wondering if there is an easy fix to bypass the factory keyless entry as the new alarm has its own, and no I am not taking it back to the installer as Ive tried twice and they dont know ****. Thanks for any info!
