Hey guys I have a 95GT fully loaded that i bought last fall, the keyless remote was working when i put it up for the winter. when i got it out this summer the keyless remote is not working but it still lighting the led up. I want to try re-programming the remote, and i read that the module is on the left side of the trunk once you remove the carpet trim, but i dont see it any wheres. . . i didnt remove the whole carpet tho just pulled it out so i could look. . . how far up is the module and harness towards the front of the car? i have the mach460 stereo, would it be past where the amp is located in the rear?
thanks

Are you sure it's factory keyless? I have had 4 94-95's all with factory keyless, not a one with an "led".

Perhaps the previous owner installed a keyless entry, but located it elsewhere.

I have one like that but it's aftermarket. The OEM didn't have an led, AFAIK.

Might check the battery in the key fob. It may have enough to light the led but not enough to transmit.

My fob has an led but it's for an aftermarket security system. I found one module behind the glove box and the other (the one with the settings) beneath the removeable bin inside the arm rest. One screw, IIRC.
