would the keyless entry disable the rear lights and door locks, there is a clicking noise(when lock/unlock switch pressed) from the keylentry module in the trunk. is this normal, i have no lights except headlights
That's odd, may be a short. Whenever I push the "lock" button a second time the horn will beep and the parking lights both front and rear will flash. Sounds like it might be a wiring issue with the module in the truck, did you look to if any wires were fried or if there is a burning smell in the trunk? Just to be safe and not have any electrial sparked issues. Wish I could help more.
Somewhere is the question? if i unhook it will the door switches work
Or better yet can someone with keyless entry unhook theirs and tell me if their lights work or not, or if their car will start. this would really help.
