kick down bar

The other day I had my 70 stang out and lost the bar that links the carb to the trans to kick it in to passing gear anyway my question is now that its gone whats the best replacement is there a cable one I can put on it or go with the metal bar style that was on it?

Lokar makes a great cable kit to replace your missing kickdown rod. Very easy to install and adjust. Make sure you get the (extra cost) mounting bracket.
