Yes, it was for sale at the local ford dealer. I talked to him about it and pulled the trigger. I wasnt really looking but I got a good deal so I was pleased. Not to mention the 01 even though its a vert is much tighter and less beat down than my 98 was. Not even close to as fast though. 98 had a full PI swap and pretty much every bolton.

It still amazes me when people have a car or just bought a car and order a assload of stuff like you are telling us, throw me a seed off that money tree you have.

Everything including the car was paid with cash. I work hard, make descent money, wife works, no kids, no debt other than my house and the wifes car, so I play hard

I already had the T-trim that I bought for the 98. I sold some other parts and have some more stuff for sale. The rest of the stuff was not that awful much, maybe 2000-2500 total.

I paid $6K for the car + my 1998 GT Coupe that was beat down.

EDIT - Pics they are with my cell and the lighting was awful so deal with it

Here is a pic of a few days after I bought it freshly waxed with Turtle Wax Platinum and my porter cable. Also Armoral Extreme shine tire goo in the orange bottle (best stuff out there imo)

Id give my left nut, your old 01, and my wifes dog for the Cobra. I just didnt have that kinda cash to swing that deal.

My car felt slow on the way home from your place the othe day, cobras rule.

I bought them for the 98 because it had a wicked exhaust leak. The only performance stuff I am putting on the 01 is the bassani exhaust and t-trim, everythign else will remain as is until the engine goes boom.

Besides I have no incentive to spend the weekend swapping them out since the 01 sounds so nice as is. I already did the loud thing on the 98 and it got old fast, that and the wife gets migraines nearly every day so she never would ride in it. I got the auto so she could drive it so I have to keep it somewhat civil for her.
