Kinda a dumb question..does this engine come with the cam?

If it dosent, what else do i have to get so i can just swap it with my cars engine? I know all the parts like the water pump, alt. and stuff are going to be reused though.

From what I understand these engines come with a cam, not 100% certain though.

Yes the long blocks should come with a cam. Not sure what DSS uses in the motors like that but they usually stick to the F or X cam from FRPP and I am sure they have optional cams at your request.

I'd ask them to discount it slightly and leave the cam out, then get yourself a custom.

I've been looking at Coast High Performance's 427 Stroker made out of a 351 Windsor. Big power....small block...who'da thought. LOL

Yeah a big ol' 427 would be nice...but i dont wanna do a 351 swap. i have researched it and its to hard for what im willing to do. probably to expensive too. im just gonna stick with the 5.0 stroker.

My understanding of Long block was:

Engine
Heads
Cam
Pistons
Crank
Rods
Etc, etc.

I think it is everything but the oil pan, intakes and accessories.
