knocking noise from top of the motor

Hi,
This topend tapping happen at a certain RPM, or heavy under hard throttle or heavy load?
Recently changed fuel grades or fill up at a location you normally don’t?
First time it occurred, was it after you were hard on the car, or did it occur over time?
Can’t mimic the noise by snapping the throttle quick while it’s sitting?
Done any work to the car recently, prior to this?
Does the speed of the noise match with the RPM of the motor?(higher-faster, loser-slower?).
Sounds like it may be spark knock, a sticky lash adjuster, possible broken valve spring.. may also be a belt driven accessory.
Little more info if you have it, please...
