Knotts Berry Farm 4/18/04

Alright guys,

Kingsford is hitting the road early Friday morning to make its annual pilgrimage to Knotts Berry Farm to celebrate the 40th Anniversay of the Ford Mustang.
I expect everyone to behave while I'm gone. Its the Mustang's birthday for goodness sakes and there's no excuse for creating headaches or disruptive behavior during this time of great celebration

If anyone's going to be at the show on Sunday I should be by the car most of the day if you want to stop by a chat. I know that oboebrian is going to be attending the show as well.

The weather doesn't look promising for the Saturday VMF cruise. It's a shame too, cuz they changed some of the route to incorpate my suggestions

I think I'll stop by too! My GF wants to see the older cars! Don't know if I'll drive my Stang down there though, wouldn't want to park it in the "masses" parking lot. Last time I parked in a "public" parking lot, someone left a nice little dent in the right rear quarter.

I'll match you: I walked out to my car yesterday to find a huge scratch in my new paint job on the very front of the hood. This was in a private parking deck at school.

Where were you guys?

J/K I am sitting here at home sick as a dog. I started feeling crappy Friday night after being at the Long Beach Grand Prix. Then I worked on the Stang yesterday with the garage open while it rainded, not smart. By Saturday afternoon I felt like crud, and it only got worse. Missed the show today

Could be! After spending weeks wiring my Mustang with a setup comparable to Mission Control, Having an engine lathe throw an oil pressure tube at me (we were drilling and tapping it for an oil pressure switch), then going to the LBGP and drinking some GP (Grand Prix) juice, I think the money'n around caught up to me. I'll (hmmm, without the ' it would be ill) post some pics of my lectrical lunacy this week.

I was there from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wow, never saw so many classic Stangs in one place! I took my Stang and parked in the free 3 hour parking lot. There was a nice 30 something coupe parked nearby. It sure was cool seeing all those classics.

I just want you to know. I looked up and down for your car in the 65-66 rows. And I thought you might be throwing me for a loop with your 'primered black' comment. Like you painted it, and got everyone to look for a primered car.
Saw 2bav8's car, but no owner.

forget what oboebrian was bringing, so I missed him.
good show though.
