Knotts Berry Farm 4/18/04

I looked forever for you and your car GP. I'm beginning to think that it doesn't exist :P Foggy I looked for you but, there was sooo many people (that and I forgot about the VMF picture. I was talking to tons of other people and mis read the time :( ) I had brought my 72 coupe (the only one there that wasn't puke green). I just drove straight home from knotts (to phoenix) and got home at 11pm tonight. I'll post most of the picts tom.

You guys are too funny.
Foggy & Oboe: Sorry I missed you guys. I've already met Foggy, but I was looking forward to meeting Oboe, 2bav8, and the other out of towners.

Mustang70: For some reason I'm never sick when it comes to races. Especially during FLEET WEEK ;)

65Stanger: I'll use paper plates when the time nears any special event :D

Just watch out you don't give yourself a big ol' nasty paper cut and hemorrhage half to death!:D

I went! What a great looking collection of cars. Finally got to see the 05. Saw a beautiful classic stang with 2 count then 2 blowers on it. The poor guy had a time getting it started, needed a jump. I guess it goes to show you, with classic cars no matter how much time, precision, money and craftsmanship you put into it, there are going to be issues from time to time.

For me one of the nicest things was listening to all of the cars when they decided to leave. Nice hearing all of the cams singing. SEXY AS HELL!

Am I a dorq for thinking that next year we should consider wearing stangnet shirts to facilitate easier introductions. I asked several owners, "Excuse me, do you post on Stangnet?" Generally the response was, "no" and a quisical look. Oh well it's an idea. I'm sure site owners would be glad to sell us shirts a reasonable price. they likely already do and I'm showing my ignorance, not a first today.

Eric,
Another forum that some of us (myself, oboe, 2bav8) are part of have static cling decals with the forum logo. They also plan events (dinners, cruise) on Frii & Sat of the weekend. I had a spec sheet for my car that had the different forum logos and my username next to it (along with the 2MFF logo). Next year we should come up with some way of identifying ourselves as SN members.

saw oboe's red coupe looking lonely as it sat unattended,,, they had some really nice cars,,, hope someone got a pic of that 427 cammer in the early fastback,,(they had 15 plus cars with cammers in them).. I took a couple pix of that "Mad Max" Main Force Patrol Interceptor... that car is just cool.. there were 3 428cj convertibles I saw,,, a 70 and 2 69's... plus the Shelby's... also took some pix of the 1985 Ford RS200.. haven't seen one of those since the late 80's.. something about a 1600 lb car, 2 seater, mid engine, 4 wheel drive, 4 cylinder with a turbo making over 800 horse power.. The guy showing the car said they were upping the HP for Pikes Peak,, looking for 1100-1200 HP in race trim... that would be just scary... damn fine show...
