Well, I figured since I spent the money on the code scanner last summer and never used it (found the surging idle problem by quick trial and error), I would go ahead and spend the few minutes to run the codes to see if any problems are present before I go about the supercharger install next week.
Well, the KOEO test returned an 11. Good.
When it came to the KOER test, it returned Code 94 and Code 44.
CODE 94: Thermactor air system inoperative - left side
CODE 44: Thermactor air system inoperative - right side
I deleted the smog pump last week and capped off all vacuum lines and air lines.
What I need to know is why are these codes popping up? Other than blocking off the vacuum lines and inlet the pump hoses used to run to, is there something else that needs to be done? Also, with these errors being given to the EEC, is it going to do something funky to try to compensate?
