I've noticed that a lot of you guy's are running kyb shocks, I just about finished restoring a 65 fastback for my son, and I am wondering which most of you are running, soft or firm ride? W hat is the actual difference? Where is the best place to purchase? Thanks for any help you can give me.

KYB's are best for the money. I use them up front on my race rod. In the rear a standard off the shelf shock is used. No need to spend money in the rear of these early models. I like mine loose so the front will turn.

I use em on my 70 MACH1

I have the KYB Gas-a-Just shocks on all 4's.
They are firmer than the GR2's I beleive, but I like that as I Track my car a couple of times a year on a Road Course.

Doesn't seem harsh to me on the street.
I hear the Koni's are great too, but haven't tried em.
