Thinking about the 18" Ford Racing FR500 (Or Steeda) wheels for my car...

How does the ride compare to 17" - too hard on bumps?
Also, how about 245-40's on the front and 275-35's on the rear?

Another question, while I'm at it...

When I do the wheel/tire upgrade, I want to try some Edelbrock shocks/struts - how is the ride quality on the Edelbrocks? Thanks.

When I switched to 18"s, my ride quality didn't seem to suffer. Cornering is much better! Definitely go with the 18"s. They just look so much better.

Are they 9" wide? I think 265's up front and 285's on the rear would be sweet. That's what I had on when I had my 18" chrome bullits on my last stang.

18" chrome bullits? Custom built, or something?
I wanted to replace my 17" grey bullit wheels for the 17" chrome bullits, but the FR500 18" is actually cheaper than 17" chrome bullit.

I've had my FR500's for about 6 months now and love them! They are wearing 265/35/ZR18 BFG KDW's all around (would have went bigger, but $149 a peice sold me on those), and haven't shown hardly any wear. I didnt notice a difference in the ride either. They are 18X9's.

I've got Steeda Sport springs and my ride is pretty stiff, but I love it. These pictures dont show it, but i've since added a Steeda Sport wing as soon as taxes come in, i'm adding the Steeda front splitter.
