Is this one of those times where you get what you pay for? They are by far the cheapest for shocks and struts. I just did my Eibach Drag springs and the next step is the shocks and struts. I am planning on 5050 out back and 70/30 up front, but it's gonna be a track/weekend stang so is 90/10 good?

Also the next step is control arms. CJPonyparts has a Mac set for like 169.95. That's UPPER AND LOWER. They are boxed aluminum so I don't see why they won't get the job done. Somebody help me out here.

Who sells torque/battle boxes. Doing those When the control arms go on. I heard that Rick91GT or something like that makes em? I dunno, thanks anyway.

I personally like southside bars, which they say you cant find anymore but Holcome motorsports has em. but on the battle boxes try here.
Battle boxes 5.0 mag article

I personally think that any boxed style control arm is better than stock. And I personally liked my southside machine upper and lower control arms..........I also ran 90/10's up front and 50/50's in rear (lakewood shocks/struts!) I personally like my set up for weekend use. I also used stock Rear Sway bar off a GT and removed my front sway bar. And I also used an air bag in right rear spring from air lift...........good luck!

Ok, go to umiperformance.com. They sell very good quality pieces. They have a copy of ssm lift bars and battle boxes.

IMO is are top notch stuff at a affordable price. I wasnt convinced until my friend ordered some for his oramac. Just a idea.

I am running 50/50s and 70/30s with Laurel Mountain Drag Springs. OK manner on the street. 90/10s are a little different on the street. Also, leave your sway bars off it will corner ok if you dont get rediculous. I have had no issues yet.

I already took the front off but Im leaving the rear sway on. Anybody know about torque boxes? I know they are diff. from battle boxes. And yeah Im just going for the cheap ctrl arms and lakewood 90/10 with 50/50 unless SOMEHOW i get talked out of it. I think torque boxes might reinforce the LCA to the frame and are battle boxes the UCA to frame??? Thanks

I run w/ lakewood 90/10s with no problems. I think their is a misnomer about these shock struts and ones like them. Adjustables are usually the ones that give problems on the street. Lakewoods are a valve system that are made for intial weight transfer but then settle in once the intial launch load is gone. Why go 70/30 when you can go all the way. I ran 90/10s w/ drag springs on my previous stang and have this set up (well currently working on the drag springs) on my current one. To sum it all up I like Lakewoods parts.
