It's still not confirmed, but PR sent the Ford Drag Team a message that there would be no CCC for Friday the 25th. That means we are in the lead and have one double points race standing between us and the championship. We need everyone who can make it to come to Bremerton tomorrow. Racing will begin about 9:00 and competition usually starts about noon. The Ford Drag Team will have its usual hot dog BBQ. If you were ever contemplating giving this a try, there is no better time. We get points for every competitor, so you contribute even if you go down the track only once in competition. Don't worry about being a beginner. Last time we had 6 new Mustangs racing with us including a 6 cylinder that ran 15.3 at 92 mph with a stock car -not bad!

If you've never done this before, Bremerton is the least expensive of the tracks. Their yearly race card is only $2. and the charge for entry is $20 or $25 per competition. Each contestant will get at least 2 practice runs, maybe 3, before competition.

I gotta feather the clutch like mad, but it works well, ill be practicing at pacific wednesday.

I lost the 2nd round because I spun 1 and 2nd and there is no way i was catching that vette

Man I must have totally missed you. What were you driving?

BTW, my car showed how susceptible it was to the heat. Best of the day was an 11.88 and couldnt muster over 123 mph trap. I couldnt hook to save my life either, I tried leaving at idle and it bogged and didnt recover very well so I kept trying to leave with "some" rpm. Last effort was leaving at 1600, still spun to a 1.90 60'. Oh well, AUTO TIME!!!
