Now that I've got you here, lets talk about your exciting future with Amway!!!

just kidding.

JJ and I were thinking of putting something together this weekend. Just hanging out having a beer or something, not a cruise or anything to that effect. I was thinking more of a TGI Fridays or somewhere like that, because of parking. I did mention places like PB Bar & Grill to JJ but he reminded me about PB's parking, or lack thereof.

Chime in! This is hopefully going to go down on friday or saturday or something.

with gas the way it is right now I would have to interject a compromised central locale. But its sounds good to me.

Someplace where the beer flows like wine and the women instinctively flock like the salmon of capristrano

What about a bar/restaurant type around UTC or La Jolla, close off the 5???
Thats fairly central. Jason, if you make it down I will give you a few bucks for the gas money man. you should hang out before you get out

Any of those sounds good. Tell me about On Tap? I sure like that name

Sounds like all of those will have good parking.

RunningMole, you should make it, not sure if you have made it to other events I have not...

I know all those restaurants in Carmel Mtn. Ranch, actually just ate at the ClamBumper today for lunch, they have some good food , BUT..I hate the traffic that is around those parts these days...its just too much.

Damn, you guys came up with the ones I totally forgot about.

Ok so we've got a big selection, now, what time/day should this whole thing go down??

JJ, On Tap is the restraunt I used to work at in UTC, and its the one that went out of business. It's now reopened, BUT I don't think that the same brewmaster is there anymore, so IMO, its not worth going to without him. The beer just wouldn't be the same.

I'd like to bring my wife down so you guys can meet her, but she won't be off work until 5:30 friday or saturday, and there is the chance she may not want to go anyway, but she is not really the driving force behind this for me (she is on the 7th). So whatever you guys come up with is cool......

I agree with you, if its a different brewmaster...hmmm Trophy's is good stuff, Is there only the one thats Friars road and 163?? Im going to yahoo to take a peek right now...

Jason, as far as Im concerned, you wife is absolutely welcome. Either way you should make it.

Trophy's Restaurants
Address: 4282 Esplanade Ct, San Diego, CA 92122

Would this be the one? Its looks to be on Genessee in between Nobel and La Jolla Village drive. What do you think of that one Beau? plenty of parking? I have not been to that one.

Fred, are either of those places good? Have been to neither

Also, I wanted to throw out Saturday for the group as a possible meet date. Talked to my roomate, a little while ago and he is whooping up a group of folks to go down to a Lueaw (sp?) down at the Catamaran hotel here in PB on Friday night, not even sure if I can make it. 50 buck charge, but would be fun, any of you guys would of course be welcome to join, there should be some females heading down with the group/(maybe me)

Trophys is pretty cool and readily accessible for all of us. I think it may be the best bet, BUT rockbottom is really cool too. We can't lose going to either of them.

I wouldnt mind either of those myself.

Not that this thing hinges on me, but I just found out that I GET to come in to work Saturday night starting at 10:00 p.m. for a deployment to a couple of our web products. Since I am on the deployment team....I just can feel all you guys' jealousy

So shoot either night I am down for. Friday..hint..hint..want to drink some suds..hint hint...I guess I need the stinking OT. Baby needs a new pair of shoes.
