Well since I'm not getting s*** for help in the eec tuning section, I'll try asking you guys...

Were there any late modle fords that came with a 80 or 90mm MAF and 24# injectors, from the factory?

Like a late 90's n/a cobra or early 351 powered lightning or lincoln navigator or something?????

Thanks fellas (or ladies as the case may be...)
:flag: :nice:

A 93 cobra had 24#'s stock I believe but it, like all others had the maps/tuning for the injectors in the computer itself. Simply swapping a maf from another car will cause a world of problems for you. Most guys go to a lightning 90 maf as stated above and get a CUSTOM tune to make it work. Short of an after market maf tuned for 24's (ie a c&l, granatelli, pro m etc) your going to have to get a custom tune with a lightning maf.

98COBRA281 thanks for the help...

The blown lightnings only had 24s in em???

(wow, I would have thought they'd have 36s or something. )

So the regular 4.6 stangs had an 80, but didn't they come with 19# injectors in em?

Now the 4.6 n/a cobras, (like 96-98) they had 24's from the factory right? (and the same 80mm)

( squeek, if you check my sig you'll notice "twEECer-rt", hence - no I wont need a custom tune, and no it won't cause "a world of problems for me". In fact that's exactly why I want a factory 80 or 90 that came from ford with 24's, cuz all I have to do is download the factory maf transfer for it and I get the benefit of hundreds of hours of fords testing and calibration studies... then it's just a matter of fine tuning from the datalogs. thanks for the thought though. :nice: )
