Sorry guys, not my car. We went to the track the other day and ran at an event we set the rules for. The temps were high, and the Altitude was 3100-4100 all day. Needless to say my day sucked, went 12.74 and 12.80 on my only two clean passes. I did snag a 1.692 60' with the 18s out front and 17" ET Streets out back. Not bad for NO weight transfer... :D

Now onto good weight transfer. My dad got the car dialed in and at OVER 4000' elevation he went 10.10 @ 134. The 60' I'm not sure, he was going low 1.4xs all day, but we grabbed this photo of the car. Not bad for an all motor van block with a set of AFR185s! :nice:

Oh yeah, nice pic. I love a car that has a nice nice straight look when it lifts the fronts, none of that limp lean going on there :nice: your dad's car is sick, very clean and get the job done at the track

Nice pic, but how the hell do people get those launch pics? I have a feature on my Sony digital that you just hold the button and it snaps like a photo every second or faster. Is that how?

As for how they get the pictures, I'm not sure. I assume the track guys are either very good, or have something that snaps multiple ones over a series...

The suspension set up I can get from him. He would know all the part names and numbers. I can tell you the rear is nothing special, adjustable control arms, shocks, anti roll bar etc... the front has a tubular K and A arms, coil overs, race brakes, and caster cambers... We had issues with the suspension and the car wouldn't go straight under full throttle. Paid to have it set up right and the car runs dead nuts down the track...

I have only driven the car one time (10.000 @ 134) but can assure you it is a blast to drive. Shifting gears in it is more fun than should be had. :D

:hail2: I have never driven anything that quick before. Best I ever did was in a Pro Charged C5 Z06 (friends) and did an 11.20 and I almost peed myself the launch was so hard! A 10 flat must be a thrill ride! :nice:

Yeah the 10.00 felt great. I had gone 11s before that, but that run was real fun. I don't get to drive it again until my dad is comfortable behind the wheel enough. He is using me as his test, to see how well he drives. LOL.

The combo is: 351 block. 393 stroker with nitrous pistons, 6XX lift solid roller, Ford Racing intake, Custom carb, AFR 185s, Jericho 4-speed, Mcloed soft lock clutch, built 8.8 with 4.10s, long tubes, suspension listed above.

Car was built to throw a little juice at it. It was also built to run safe. Only shift it in the mid 6000 RPM range.
