launch

I have found that stock tires are not easy to get down the track with unless you have alot of time to practice. If you get some nitto drags you can worry more about how fast you can get the pedal to the floor and not how well you can feather it :nonono: . new drags would be my first mod.

I agree... I can launch great on the street from all the practice... but at the drag strip i get CRAP for traction. It's totally different.

the only thing that you can do is PRACTICE, there is no quick fix to perform good launches. but the one thing that you might do is to practice is starting out at idle & move up your rpms on each launch. when you finally start to loose traction on the take off, stay there & do your best to get the slipping or feathering the clutch down :nice:

i have had better luck leaving at lower rpm & slipping the clutch a little. kind of ride it out as u roll into throttle. it's hard to cut a 1.9-2.0 or better 60' on street tires. has been for me anyway.
