i really like it actually. drives good, gets really good mpg, girls like it for some reason.

insurance is cheap.. pretty much everything i hoped for when i bought it. only downside is it takes premium fuel, dealership just said nothing under 89 if your going to vtak it basically.

usually average about 320 miles a tank on 11 gallons.

Maybe I'm weird, but I totally don't get how cutting a hole to get at the heater core would in any way affect the value of a car ... unless it's a collector's item (which I can see being the case with a Capri or genuine Cobra, really). It's behind the friggin' dash - who the hell looks there, anyway? - and as long as you seal it back up well enough, it doesn't affect a thing.

Besides ... it's just plastic; cutting a hole in your trunk, however, involves hacking up chassis metal, which is a bit more sinful, IMO...

I think youre all stupid, crazy, and extremely lazy to be cutting holes in your cars to reach the fuel pump.
ive swapped a fuel pump with 1/2 tank by myself,
like previously said. 2 bolts. a filler neck, and a few harnesses and lines.
whoooooooopty do.
i cant imagine how you lazy bastards would pull a motor, or swap a tranny.

Besides I may be hacking into my chassis for real next year, body guy wants to put mini-tubs in my car along with roll cage once I manage to build my engine the way I want it lol

this is the reason im getting rid of my current mustang ....previous owner hacked up the area over the fuel tank pretty bad ...... not to mention the fender wells and other areas .

if done rite this is not a bad idea ..... but it takes no time to drop the tank anyways

I like the last pictured method. Clean and secure, looks almost factory.

my coupe has some small stuff one. 306 - f303 cam - TF wedge heads - edelbrock performer intake - 1.6 rr - 36lb injectors - 70mm TB - 80mm pro-m mass air - shortie headers, bbk X pipe, flowmonster with polished tails - cobra r's and i think thats it

Yeah the gas station Wawa by the bridge....till the cops kick us out then everybody goes to Stop N shop parking lot across from Downs Ford, then keep going back to wawa till we get kicked out again hah. No one ever goes to white castle anymore.

I got somewhat same setup except you have better parts. Why such big injectors? I have some 24lb. injectors with brand new caps and o-rings if you would be interested in a trade n some cash or something?, they're just sitting in my room. I want some 36's for the S-trim I'm putting on soon n since that's what my fmu is set for.

the person before me put those injectors in.. i figure i'll leave them incase i grow to F/I some day.. it does run PIG rich, and i get like 12 mpg.. It had a stock ignition coil but that poo'ed out. Im hoping the MSD can cure some of my issues I'm having I'll have to stop by one night once i have her running (hopefully saturday!!!! )

Damn yeah I hear ya, but offer's on the table if you want it. Sounds good on coming out, there's always more people out on the weekend nights. What's F/I? what MSD box did you get or did you just get the coil.

That or since they're so big the computer adjusts for it by cranking down the pulsewidth of them to try and maintain the right air/fuel ratio and since it's such a short squirt it's not making a good efficient combustion I'll put in the injectors too if you do wanna do the trade. I got the MSD 6al and had the blaster 3 coil too....till it started sparking to itself
