leak Down Test Results

Well did my leak down test tonight...i did a compression test before i put it away and it showed between 95-105 accross all 8.

the leak down test showed 20-30% leakdown over the 8. And you could only hear it out of the dipstick. Would this be alot of leakdown? And from the dipstick...this would mean rings..correct?

I think above 20% is getting up there.And yes it is most likely rings comming from the dipstick. Is it smoking real bad or using alot of oil? If not I would run it at least through the summer.

Well it smokes when you get on it...goes through a quart of oil ever two, three weeks..and comes out the breather pretty bad too..

I drove it last summer like this..lost 15ft/lbs after adding a TFS stage 1 cam, mass air swap and 65mm tb.

Plus i can run 18deg of timing with 42psi fp and 19lb injectors...all with GT40 heads, TFS street intake!
