That is the crankcase ventilation tube. It allows gases that build up in the crankcase to go into the combustion chamber.

It is not so much leaking as it is that your engine is ridiculously dirty. Why is your engine so dirty? Don't you care about your Mustang?

Clean your engine.

in the cam cover there is a baffle setup that supposed too block excess oil from getting into the vent tube. i would check that. plus you may want too replace that rubber peice that connects the plastic tube too the cam cover.

a little oil seepage is somewhat normal but you don't want too much oil seeping into the intake system. where it will eat apart vac hoses and cause other issues.

ohh i just remebered see how it has wrench flats under the rubber connecter where the oil is leaking. well thats the oil seperator for the crankcase vent. before you rip the valve cover off check that seperator.

It just twisted right off. Seems like it was loose. Baffel was noted and intact. Valve cover intact no cracks. Rubber gasket seemed cool. wiped down and re seated seemed to click and bottom out.

Thanks Again.

Now to wash my engine.
