leak

i have a 94 gt mustang has aleak at the driveshaft/ tranny connection needs seal replaced
Easy or hard fix?
cost at shop?

thats the tailshaft seal. take the driveshaft out, use a screwdriver or seal puller to remove old seal, then install new out. put some fresh tranny fluid around inner edge of seal so it doesn't get damaged when u reinstall driveshaft.

Thanks ill put it up oh trhe rack and replace.Does this seal leak often?
This is a new car for me so not to familiar with mustang . Got tired of riding in a honda ..HAD TRO GET SOME REAL HP

No, I would say not very often. It's the first time I have seen a thread on this for a while now. Although that may be because it's a pretty simple process and research isn't very necessary beyond a haynes/chilton manual.
