I bought a Fluidyne just about a year ago. It was a perfect fit and cooled dramatically better. Recently, however, I got a pretty serious leak in the thing. It was something that leaked a little and then progressed to a point where I had to refill my coolant resovoir every other day or so. As you can imagine, I wasn't too happy about spending $400 on a high performace radiator that is now leaking. Despite this, my best recourse was to call up Fluidyne and redeem their one year warranty.
The whole process was very smooth. I called them, got an RMA#, shipped it back, and they sent me a brand new one. All I was out was shipping, a few fluids, and a little time. I'm on the west coast and they are located in North Carolina so it took a while. But their turn around from receiving date to shipping date was only two days. This impressed me. There were no questions asked and no hassle...they just sent a brand new one.
I have heard a few people on here saying things about leaking Fluidyne's. I spent a bit of time talking to one of their reps about the problem. They said that the 94-95 stangs are the only cars they have ever had a problem with leaks on. What he also told me was that many changes have been made recently to fix the problem. So for anyone interested in the future, it looks as if the problem has been remedied. Or at least we can hope. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated on how things go with my new radiator.
