After the crazy rain we had today, My drivers seat is soaked appears it is leaking on corner near the window. Also my drivers side door is full of water. Is this a common problem? mine never see's the rain. What the best way to fix this problem
i have the same problem on the passenger side of my car, i have a car port so it doesn't ever really see rain, however last week i parked in a parking lot during a rain storm and my passenger seat was soaked when i got back to my car...
luckily my weather stripping is fine, my door just doesn't close right because the hinge is sagging and the door doesn't make contact with the strip correctly, if your doors close fine and have that reassuring "click" sound when you close them, i'd just check the weather stripping for dry rot or tears and maybe replace them to save yourself from having rotted out floor pans (eventually) and a moldy, water-stained interior
