leaky hatch

i am having a pretty bad leak somewhere in my hatch. i thought it was the window so i pulled all the molding and siliconed it up real good. so that only leaves the wing. has anybody had this problem before? its weird. when it rains and my cars is just sitting there and i open the hatch water pours out from the plastic panel on the hatch. its like there is a bunch of trapped water in there. i have drain holes on the bottom of the hatch but the water is still collecting somewhere. and i dont want to silicone around my wing. any advice?

pull the wing and reinstall it with new silicone.

SMR is right, the wing is collecting and overflowing what it wants into your trunk. It's from the holes that the bolts bolt onto.

yep i would agree. Its just a matter of siliconing the bolts that hold the wing on not all the way around the wing.

its super easy if youa re worried about messing anything up. Just pull the cover plugs on the bottom of the hatch for the bolts and loosen them up. You may be able to get away with just loosening it up and not taking it off. ut until you reseal the bolt holes to the hatch it will continue to leak there. The previous owner of my car had same problem and wound up later having to replace the hatch all together...

yea i pulled it two days ago and siliconed the bolts holes and that hole for the brake light wiring gromet. ran a water hose on it for a while and i got it fixed.
