Least Expensive 4.6L Supercharger?

The least expensive supercharger I have found for an 02 GT is a Vortech supercharger for $2700 from an independent seller. The best deal from a distributor I have seen is $3400 for a Eaton roots type supercharger.

What's the best deal out there on a supercharger for the 4.6L?

The guys around here have all been going with procharger because of the intercooling. Its much better on the car to blow in the cooler air. They start in the low 3k range with a stage 2 intercooler. Also they have less detonation.

In realistic terms what is a supercharger (taking cobra killer's mongoose for example) with install going to cost on average. Tim's sc is around 3700 for the base mongoose.

key word is safe tune with any supercharger and that is something Tim will make sure you get , he takes this end of the performance of the car personal . he wont let your car be good enough . he will dail it in just right , ask anybody on here , I dont think Tim has or ever will have an unsatisfied customer. KEYWORD safe tune

procharger is the cheapest if you want a intercooler.. I got mysetup used so it was cheap too.. 2000 dollars..

I agree , I got my kit from dallas mustang , but really didnt save enough by the time I was done , would have been just as well off getting Tims kit , but I took it to Tim to tune and couldnt be happier now .

Is the vortech kit a COMPLETE kit? as in EVERYTHING you need to get the car running?
