Leather Seats

hey. my old man just got a ragtop with grey leather. The leather is in good shape like no creases or rips, but the car has been siting awhile and the seats are kinda hard and crusty. Does anyone know of any product or anything that can help soften them up and restore them a bit?

meguiars makes leather wipes and and a leather cream, just go to pep boys or something and look at their car care sectioin and see what they have

I had the same problem, I tried leather lotion the wipes, but after the leather has been so dried out its never the same, eventually it gets the crease the the crease cracks and splits, depends on how much you drive the car. I had to get mine re-upholstered.

how much did you pay to get your seats re-upholstered?

At murrays they have this stuff that starts with a L i believe...cant remember the name. Lexol maybe or something. Anyway it comes in 2 bottles...a brown spray bottle and a orange one. Its a cleaner and a conditioner. That stuff is the best i have heard about.

you definitely need a cleaner and conditioner... and get somethign you can put on and really let it penetrate.. they'll be fine if you do...
