I recovered my wheel in one of my old cars once with the leather stich-it-yourself kit. Kinda a pain in the ass, but it looked better after I did finish. It kinda hard to push the needle through the small holes.

Same kit I believe, just differant company selling it. As far as install, I would have to say it's pretty straight forward. Just time consuming and painfull for the fingers.

Just an FYI--it took me 10 curse-laden hours to put on a leather cover for my last car. Unless things have changed to make it easier, I'd gladly pay to have someone put it on again (when it needs it).

Problems I encountered:
- Broke the original lacing after the 1st hour
- Went to the store and bought fishing line as it was stronger
- Broke the fishing line after the 2nd hour of trying it
- Went back to the store and bought the highest gage lead-wire they had
- 7+ hours later of manipulating the damn lead-wire with a pliers and gloves, I was done

Like I said, unless this process can be done easier, I would have someone put it on.

I had a big hole worn in the top of my wheel. I just cut off the top leather wrap layer. For now its not bad. I plan on trying to get a replacement wheel, I think I have seen them for like 40-50. Thats better then sewing on some *****.

Before I forget....

I ordered it from This Place but I called and ordered it. The guys name was Dale and he was really cool. They have the product in stock and usualy ships same day. I also expressed my concern about the string breaking and he said he would throw in an extra one at no extra cost.

LOL at myself! I just found my invoice: size "AXX" and color "grey". Sorry for the late reply!

The grey is a tiny bit darker than the factory grey interior (in my '98). I was surprised at how close the color was when the cover arrived.
