LED license plate

So I wanted to get a couple of opinions about my recent mod. I put an LED bulb in to replace the stock bulb. I thought it would be a good look to match my HIDs. Sorry for the quality of the pic, took it with my phone.

you may get a LEO that thinks you have a white light to the rear, and pull you over. on the other hand, he may not, since he can CLEARLY see your plate # now.

personally i dont care if the plate is lit well. since you swapped the bulbs, it does look nice. how bright is it in person. from the pic, it looks BRIGHT! its lighting up the driveway!

Its definitely bright, but not extremely bright. My friend's lexus IS has the light stock on his and they looked so nice I had to see how it would go with our stangs. As far as the LEO, I've been pulled over about twice for the stock bulbs being out after having the car for about a year. So rather than having that issue again I went with the LEDs thatll hopefully last longer.

I have the same bulbs in for my maplights. I'll have to get a picture of that for you guys to check out.

wow, bulbs out after a year? in 4 days, i will have had mine for 4 years. i JUST had the first bulb go out, about 2 weeks ago.

Yeah, Im not sure what the deal was but that light went out fairly quick. One of the bulbs in the tail lights were going out every couple of months too. Im thinking its something with the wiring cause the bulbs were burnt like theyve been there for years. But took care of that issue and havent had any problems since. Only issue now is that my AUX port is acting up.
