So installed these great looking taillights on my 69. Bright LED and look great. But no blinkers now. Think they do not draw enough current to actuate the blinker element. Anybody know a fix?

One of the kits we did reqd a seperate power wire be run back to the trunk-the stock wiring would not carry enough current to flash the LEDs. Check the instructions and see. If the instructions don't call for a seperate power wire, you may want to string one outside the car to see if it helps. Of course-check the front bulbs first as previously posted.
I agree. LEDs require very little current, on the order of 20mA per LED. There should either be a resistance in the package to mimic the old light, or some sort of electirc control (which seems more likely). Pretty cool mod tho.
Are you sure these LED units are the sequential ones. Not all are. Have a set on the wife's '68 that are not sequentials. Otherwise, contact the manufacturer with you problem via their web page.
Just get their new flasher module. It replaces the actual flasher with a special one for the LED's. Works great and can be used with any LED or lightbulb. That way you are not putting more current than you have to by adding a resistor in place. Just the right way of doing it.
THe kit should have come with the flasher, it may not "look" like a traditional flasher too. THe one that came in one of the kits we did had a ground wire that needed to be fastened as well. Make sure you check for that too.
