i have a set of illegal head lights on my car. i love em! never had a prob with anyone cop etc either. long as they have a high/low beam you'll be fine (my high/low are in 1 bulb the 9004) not sure how yours are setup. But you should be fine
i've had my bulb in for about a year and a half, and also had them in my explorer for about 6 months b4 the stang, never has 1 prob. mine are the xenon type though, the watages are 95/105 if i remember correctly with the 7000degree or however thats put. but yeah i love mine
