Okay if i decide to keep 2 grand out of my 5 grand and put the other 3 grand towards a bike, i will have some shopping to do. So who wants to help.

budget is 2,000
Engine is done with exception of alternator, and mass air harness and gaskets so no money really needs to go in that dept.

Here is what i need
Axles 31 spline, i mite have my friends dad putting 9 inch ends on my 8.8 so where can i get decent priced 31 spline axles for drum brakes?
Adj. uppers and lower control arms
5 lug hubs for my 01 spindles
front 5 lug brakes

I mite have a trade for a 5 speed for my aod, so that would take care of that part of the trans area.

Im thinking mgw shifter, spec stage 3 clutch maybe 3+ clutch. I love spec clutches never had a problem so i will be using them.

Ford cable, and adj. quadrant.

255 ford racing pump assembly

The engine combo is
347 stroker mexican block
eddy performers stock 1.9 and 1.6
1.6rr
eddy upper and lower intake performer
38lb injectors mathcing pro flow meter
anderson power pipe
75mm tb
7qt pan
i guess thats it.

Tranny stuff, NO questions...

A stock AOD behind that combo is going to either be a time bomb or suck up most of the power and make it feel awful.

IM working on a trade for a t5 for now, this will get the engine in the car and have it driveable and enjoyable, I will just have to take it easy on her, til i decide what route to go with the 5 speed, either tremec or a5 kit.

Well 2 thousand bucks isnt going to get you very far towards the A5 or G-force tranny swap. And i think putting a stock t5 behind an HCI stroker is just silly. That will last for a very short while...at which point you'll have to lay out the 2 grand for a real tranny.

I say you spend that whole 2 grand on a nice APW, G-force, or TKO setup right now. You are going to need a clutch anyways...so why not get the proper clutch setup now instead of putting a stock 10 spline clutch in there now...and then have to put another 28spline clutch in there later when you go A5 or Gforce. just my two cents. good luck man.
