LOL, and we complain about our cars being heavy.

Am I the only one that has gutted everything in the trunk including spare and all carpeting? I'll be deleting the rear seats soon, too.

I do have an amp back there sitting in the tire spot (easy removal in "time of need", lol).

Exactly why I plan to remove mine one of these days. Im thinking about doing a rear seat delete and mounting one 10" or 12" sub and amp on that. With how loud my exhaust is now, I have to turn it up to 18 or 20 just hear any bass. Around 25 is when it starts to distort, and 30 is max.

That doesn't sound like a problem a little more watts couldn't fix

Well with my new employee discount I decided to put a new system in my car. Right now I have a old Sony headunit, and panasonice speakers. Soon, I will have an Alpine headunit ( forget the model number), Alpine Type-R speakers, and 1 alpine type-R 12" subwoofer with mathcing amp. I want a clean install, and I already have a few ideas but I want to see what you guys come up with.

This is actually two 10's facing each other and the one on top is hooked up in reverse polarity (spelling?) so that they act as one sub. I used a gallon of resign in the spare tire well and just kept working it until it hardened enough to stay. We then took the spare tire cardboard cover and put it on a piece of 3/4" plywood and traced and cut it to that shape. We used 3" PVC pipe for the port. I think its about 12" long. I liquid nailed the wood down and then put screws about every 8". It sounds really good even with my crappy amp. I just leave the spare tire out until I take long trips. It will still fit even with golf clubs back there, but it is tight. If you just did one sub, then you could just put a grille on it and haul whatever you wanted.

I think someone needs to do an IB setup. I don't think anyone has done it yet. I'm thinking it may be my next setup with 3-12s so I can do away with the box forever. With the fold down seats, the SN95 is screaming for one and it would be so much lighter too.

I like to call it the Black hole.

I'm not done cleaning things up yet, but I just ran out of time.
