Lets See Those Gauges / Need Advice

After 5 years I’ve finally decided to stop relying on the inaccurate stock instrumentation. I wired up a shift light a few months ago so I now know where to accurately shift.

My next step is to get some better monitoring gauges. I’ve pretty much decided that I’m going to start out with a Water Temp and Oil Pressure gauge (both electric).

I have already bought an instrument bezel to hold them in (dual pod on the steering column), so now the only thing left to decide is what style to get. I know I want to go with some Autometer’s, but they make so many cool ones, I don’t know which ones will look best in my interior. I have the Black/Grey interior with the stock black instrument cluster.

The decision will be based on cost, but I might hold off a little longer if there is one I’d really like to get but cost a little more. Obviously I think the C2 and Lunar series are pretty badazz, but I’m not going to spend $400 on a pair of 2 1/16” gauges.

So show me your gauges and which ones you think blend in best with the SN95 interior. I also want to know how they light up at night. Right now, I’m kindof leaning towards the Ultra-Lite or Silver Series, but I’m not sure how the white gauges will look and how they light up.

I got the white ones, they light up like a amber/white light. i can take a pic tonite if you want

I have the autometer phantoms, 2 5/8" in my AC vents. I use the green condoms (no, not the trojan twisted pleasures ) No pics, but I think you'll like em. Autometer makes some nice ones, but some are a bit crazy priced. Mine were like $30 maybe each. I'd also recommend a cowl mounted mech FP gauge.

well, I really like the cheap brand that autometer makes... it's like autogauge I think... good stuff, and half the price. but however, all my gauges are quite accurate my tach is dead on, all through out the band, and my speedo is accurate to 150, after that, it's kinda hard to tell what I'm doing, unless I memorize the tach and figure it all out in my head

I dont know which ones to get that arent $80. I heard the MAC's are not good!

RC, I just bought some white face gauges on ebay like 5 min ago for $20. ill let you know how hey look. dont bid on any with the name on_ice!!

Here is one in the dark but it is really dim. The gauges are much more visible at a closer range even with the red bulb covers.

AM gage bezel with Blk/Silver Sport Comps....with the 35th Anniv gage pod...Saleen Pedals...I like the Blk/Silver theme...

And for the Retro look...F/P gage on the wiper cowl...
