Thinking about getting a new hood, actually, set on getting a new hood, just not sure which one to get. Could you guys post some pics of your car with a front hood view. opinions needed! Thanks!

i think the best looking hood is the 96-98 cobra, i dont have any pics of it tho

Yeah the 98 Cobra is 1 of 2 hoods that look good on the SN95


The other is a $900 Saleen extractor.

I used to have a Cobra R hood, I don't know what I was thinking. Cowls look retarded on the SN95 body I think, but most will disagree. Not to mention there is no point to them unless you have some crazy intake or Vortech ice box.

I never noticed that bulge in between the nostrills on the 96-98 Cobra hood. How much extra clearance does it give?

Saleen Hood:

Those bad boys are expensive though, even the CF/Fiberglass blended one. The Carbon Fiber one is light as hell though. I felt like I was gonna break the hood on an S351 when I slammed it shut because it was so light.

My friend has a Harwood cowl with the saleen scoops on it...it looks pretty mean

That Saleen hood is Sweet It gets my vote. I am pretty partial to the 96-98 Cobra's. My least favorite is the SVO... I know, I know, Alot of you guys have them. Just my opinion.

yeah, i was thinking about the 98 cobra hood because we own a shop and get a nice discount through the dealers. im gonna price one today. thanks guys, id still like to see the variety of hoods, so keep em commin.
