Why is everyone so amazed by Nitrous switches. They look at my car and say "woah, you got NAWZZZ? Where's the switch at." I don't look at a supercharged WS6 and say "Woah, where'd you mount your glove compartment lock at?" No. Why? It's just dumb, that's why. A switch is a switch is a switch. Not that cool. Funniest thing though, no one has never asked to see my fog light switch before. Go figure

very true. if anything i would have named this thread "let me see your purge"...because i have seen some very clever purge mounting (coming out of snake emblems on both sides or the car, spraying behind running pont in front creating a heavenly effect)

I'm guessing here...

I think they are just concerned about the looks of the interior... Personally I wouldn't want some plastic, colored switches from Radioshack on my dash or my console... Same reason people go through the trouble of making a special recessed place in the trunk for the bottle... Just for aesthetic purposes. Its all about priorities gentleman. Some are worried about performance only, and some are worried about perfomance with good looks.

While I dont beleive in NOS I think this is a legitimate post, however it should have been in sound or shine.
Placing things in your car that make the car retain its stock appearance can net you a few bucks at the track. A friend of mine converted his main 3 (defrost, TC, and Fog) into his NOS buttons, he now controls those three from a digi-pad inside the glove box door.
Sure its a lot of money, but I think at shows and also in betting situations, its a plus to be able to hide things.
Honestly I do agree with the post saying wheres your purge, creative and exciting ways to mount and hide something are much more fun than keeping it stock appearance, if its not stock, show it off in a cool and unusual way.

dont wanna sound like an idiot, but what fan are you talking about? I am assuming that you are talking about your electric fans. do you mainly flip them on when your car is cooling down in the pits??

Sorry guys. Didn't think to put this in sound and shine, just lookin for something a little more classy than that big red switch that says NOS. I like the idea about using the defroster switch, thanks for the input.

Sweeeet!! I'm loving that. Mount that bad boy in the middle of my steering wheel (just hope the airbag never goes off). How much would one of those custom switches cost me.
