Let's see your sound systems

I need some ideas for my 02 GT hardtop. my convertible 94GT already has a system but it's not to elaborate, I want something cleaner for my 02...lets see what you have, and if your wiring is clean under the hood i want to see that too. I will post pics tomorrow of what I have so far, Knukonceptz.com 4 guage wiring with a knukonceptz positive battery terminal and a directed ANL fuse holder, For equipment I have a Pioneer Premier DEH-P860MP Head unit, Directed 1100D sub amp, Directed 4200 for the highs, JL 5x7 components front and back, and 2 12" JL 12x6v3 subs, just need some ideas for the trunk now

How does this sound??? It looks clean, Is it enclosed on the other side or are you running the subs FreeAir??

They are free air. I was going to put a box on the back but that was turning out to be alot of trouble.

They sound pretty good though. Im not really a "thumping bass" kinda guy, but when I put on something like "Master of Puppets" you can definately hear the bass drum hitting.

heres what i have in the 02

alpine HU, alpine components in the doors, 6x8 alpine speakers in the rear deck, mtx amps (one for the sub and one for the components) alpine sub in the rockford custim form enclosure


oh i also swapped the double din radio bezel for the 99/01 single din opening for a cleaner look

Sounds well if you ask me, clear as a bell most of the time, decent bass, but nothing too insane
