Can anyone tell me if the front licence plate Frame/Bracket off of a cobra will fit on our Saleens? Looks like I am going to have to break down and put my front licence plate on. I dont want to screw the plate straight into the bumper, but would like to put one of those nice Cobra ones on.. Here is one on Ebay

If you are set on putting a front plate on there is a guy on one of the stang sites that makes a bracket that attatches to the heat exchanger. That way you wouldn't need to drill holes in the bumper.

I believe he has a quick release license plate set up that attaches to the car beneath the bumper as well. No drilling holes in the facsia.

Louis,

I hate to do it, but I live in Live Oak. These guys out here have no mercy, and because it is a small town, they just LOOK for things to bust you for. My son, in his 86 Monte Carlo SS, got ticketed for not having a front licence plate. His was in the front window, and they still gave him a ticket...
