light knocking sound

i have a 2004 mustang gt, with jlt intake, bbk off road xpipe, underdrive pulleys, and a bama tune. when i hit the gas around 3 grand and a little above i hear a knocking sound real quick then it goes away. it sounds like click clack then dissapears i have no idea i just installed my bama tune today on RACE

Sounds like tip-in spark knock (otherwise known as detonation.) It usually comes about from running fuel with an insufficient octane rating for the amount of spark advance being run.

A "race" tune is almost certainly running absurd amounts of spark advance so either get race gas or take some timing out of it.

I have run the race tune on my car for almost a year now with no problems, I think he might have had a mixed blend tank. OP, you have to run straight 93 or 91 on the race tune otherwise problems arise. Or contact bama, and maybe get a reburn.
